Reference image of parasitic fungus.

Painting burlap white with acrylic paint.

Cutting out fungal shapes and distressing edges.

Headpieces were dipped in glue, placed onto a head mold and left to dry.

Following this they were painted with acrylic to add depth and texture.

The same initial process was used for the coveralls but instead of being dipped in glue, they were individually handsewn onto the garment and then painted.
